KUBERNETES AND DEVOPS

What is DevOps?

Ways of working that bring software development and operations together so software ships faster and more reliably.

In plain English

DevOps combines culture and practice: shared responsibility between developers and operations, automation of building, testing and deploying, and fast feedback from running systems. It is not a job title or a single tool. Common practices include continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure as code and monitoring.

Example

A change is merged, automatically tested, deployed and watched with dashboards, with the same team responsible for what happens in production.
