What is Agile?
A way of delivering work in small steps, getting feedback often and adapting as you learn.
In plain English
Agile favours working in short cycles, delivering something usable each time, collaborating closely with the people who will use it and responding to change instead of following a fixed plan. Scrum and Kanban are two popular ways of putting it into practice.
Example
A team releases a small version every two weeks and uses what users say to decide what to build next.
Easy to confuse with
- Kanban: Agile is the broad approach. Kanban is one method, built around a visual board and limits on work in progress.
